Sitemaps

Revenue HQ generates two sitemap files:

  1. A file at /sitemaps/pages.xml that contains a list of all of your enabled landing pages.
    1. Landing pages where the HTML Header is configured to prevent_indexing will be skipped.
  2. An index file of all sitemaps at /sitemaps/index.xml.

By default, the index file at /sitemaps/index.xml will only contain a reference to the sitemap file found at /sitemaps/pages.xml. However, if you are using Reverse Proxies you can also explicitly define additional sitemaps that you want referenced in /sitemaps/index.xml. These should be sitemap index files (and not url sets).

By default, the /robots.txt resource will include a reference to /sitemaps/index.xml. Put all together, all landing page content you generate on Revenue HQ, as well as all sitemaps managed via external resources (like a proxied Wordpress install) will by synced to the various search bots that come to your domain.
